Warsaw’s Old Town is the jewel in the Polish capital’s crown. It delights visitors with its colourful tenement houses and the unique atmosphere of its narrow streets. It is no wonder that it has been entered on the UNESCO World Heritage list!

It is a great starting point to visit other Warsaw attractions
Lazienki Royal Park
This biggest and most charming park in the whole of Warsaw was designed in the 17th century in the Baroque style. The park is home to a number of palaces (including the main Palace on the Water ) a neoclassical amphitheater and orangeries. Often in summer, there are free yoga and meditation classes in the park.
With so much of pre-war Warsaw destroyed there are few places to experience what this must have been like more than at Wilanow’s palace and gardens.
The ‘Polish Versailles’ is just one of the few. Wilanów is more than just a palace – it represents an era from which much has been lost. The palace, park and surrounding ensemble of buildings represent the height of Polish Baroque. The complex is one of Poland’s greatest national treasures. The sprawling 45-hectare setting is also full of things to do, from visiting the superb Poster Museum next door to renting a rowboat on the palace’s lake. If the weather’s good and you’ve got time to spare, it’s easy to spend an entire and thoroughly rewarding day here.

I found the place by accident, attracted by the shop window. I do recommend it! The staff is very friendly and gave me excellent advice on Warsaw’s attractions and most importantly where to eat and where to have fun. They also provide all the services that you would need while travelling. Bookings, luggage storage… you name it you get it. And they also have a great selection of souvenirs to take home. Well done!
